Aqua-Vu Systems with constant-on IR lights.

The Original Micro and Micro II systems are designed with the IR lights set to a low level constant on. Some bodies of water have a high level of particulates and these particulates are reflected back into the camera, sort of like a snow storm at night with your vehicles headlights on. This occurrence is called particulate reflection. For systems with constant on IR lights, anglers have had success putting electrical tape over the lights on the camera head to assist in shutting them completely off removing the particulate reflection.
