Micro Revolution 5.0 Pro Troubleshooting Tips

>Power cycling will typically correct readings.
>Slowly rotating the camera a few times during power up will assist in calibration. Ensure that the camera is in the position it will be used when it is calibrated.
>To achieve calibration. be sure that the camera is in a a level horizontal position. Up or down angle is not as important but it should not tilt right or left.
>Holding the camera head near the monitor will interfere with the compass operation.
>Using the camera inside or near a large metal building may interfere with the compass operation.
>If the camera is having difficulty reading, it will stay with a previous direction longer.  If you could watch the degree reading it would likely be fluctuating rapidly.  The firmware is translating that to a letter heading.  If it is not stable it will likely not change its previous reading.
>Please keep in mind that the compass is for reference and not for actual navigation.
>Temperature will display higher than ambient temp above the water.  The camera generates heat.  When the camera is not in the water this heat does not dissipate as quickly so it will show a higher temp than the air temp.  When the camera is in the water, the water will draw the heat off the camera much quicker and there will be little difference.
>If the system ever appears to be locked you can force a restart. Pressing and holding the power button and OK button simultaneously will force a restart.
