The new HD7i and HD10i units do have a slightly different video signal which will not work with most mini-dvr systems. We have tested and found a DVR system that is compatible.
This recorder offers a quality file in 1920×1080, The video looks good, and the recorder is about $170. The recorder takes mini sd cards, powers from a usb port. Nothing needs to be changed on the camera’s video output signal.
