Currently sonar manufactures are basing their video-in capability on RCA input. Anglers wishing to use their Aqua-Vu systems need to take a few steps to connect their Aqua-Vu systems depending on the model of booth the sonar unit and the Aqua-Vu camera system.
For Lowrance units anglers would need to order a cable from Lowrance allowing RCA video-input on the sonar unit. Please see video link below for more information on this. We believe the cable is model# 000-11010-001 but double check with Lowrance and the video.

For Garmin and Raymarine systems additional cables may not be needed but we strongly recommend contacting the manufacturer for further information on video-in capabilities.
If your Aqua-Vu system has RCA video-out and you have the appropriate cable as noted above , you should be able to connect to sonar units featuring video-in capability.
If your Aqua-Vu system features HDMI video-out, the signal would need to be converted to RCA. Current Aqua-Vu systems that utilize HDMI video-out include the HD 700i and the Multi-Vu HD. You would accomplish this conversion by ordering an HDMI to RCA adapter online. See below link for adapter ordering link. This conversion also converts the video signal from High Definition to Standard Definition.
